Students, Staff, and Volunteers from Ashby School are looking to give something back to our communities for everything you’ve given us! Each year the Ashby Chapter of the Minnesota Honor Society organizes a Day of Caring and is looking to expand out to our community even further.
On May 21st, we are looking for volunteer opportunities in Ashby. We will come to your location and can work up to 4 hours on a project you need help with at your home, business, or community location. We are also looking for community volunteers that morning to supervise middle or high school groups of students of 10 or less students. Homeowners and business owners must be present while the team of volunteers works on their project. Those who apply and whose projects are accepted can expect a team of student and adult volunteers to arrive at their home between 8:30-9 a.m. and stay until 11-11:30 a.m., May 21st, the Ashby School's Day of Caring.
Not all applications are guaranteed to be part of the Day of Caring event. Registration forms must be submitted by Friday, May 2nd, to be considered. We will let you know if your project will be included.
The volunteers will work on the projects rain or shine. In case of severe weather, cancellation information can be found on the Ashby School Website and social media accounts.
