    Ashby gave me the opportunity to participate in anything I wanted to, no matter how much experience I had. I was given many chances to be a part of teams and extracurricular activities if I had wanted to take them, which I often did. Ashby helped me realize that I wanted to be a small town teacher, where I was loved and supported by all ages and where I knew more than just the students in my classroom, but also those in other classes, older and younger. Ashby made me love what small towns could do for their people, and I quickly realized that actually, not all small towns did that, but Ashby does. Josey Koefod
