The School Board of District 261 met in regular session on December 19, 2018 in the Media Center of the School. Chair Wing called the Truth and Taxation Meeting to order at 6:01 PM with members Anderson, Hoff, B. Johnson, C. Johnson, and Wing present. Absent: Rylander, Spangler. Also present were Superintendent Niemann, Principal Moore, Business Manager Renee Melby, Heidi Kent, and Anna Johnson.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Superintendent Niemann presented the Truth and Taxation information. B. Johnson made a motion to adjourn the Truth and Taxation Meeting. Anderson seconded. MCU. Adjourned at 6:10 PM. The regular meeting was called to order at 6:10 pm. Hoff moved to approve the agenda. C. Johnson seconded. MCU. C. Johnson moved to approve the following consent agenda:

Heidi Kent reported on Junior High Science and Knowledge Bowl. Discussion Items Discussion on polling place location for potential Operating Referendum Renewal. Action Items Ballots were cast for the Region 1 Joint Powers Board. B. Johnson made a motion to approve the gym floor sanding, oil base refinishing, and graphics bid from Johnson Floor Sanding. Hoff seconded. MCU. C. Johnson made a motion to approve the Final Property Tax Levy for 18 Payable 19 at $1,025,567.12. Anderson seconded. MCU. B. Johnson made a motion to increase the Continental-Western Deductible Limits on Property and Automobile Insurance to: Property $5,000, Auto $2,000/ $1,000. Hoff seconded. MCU. Anderson introduced Resolution No. 19.02 Establishing Combined Polling Places for Multiple Precincts and Designating Hours During which the Polling Places will remain open for voting for School District Elections not held on the day of a Statewide Election.
