Good morning Arrows - It is time for another drawing of the Arrow Pride Award Winner and the first of 2020. I would first like to welcome you back to school after a long winter break. I hope that all of you enjoyed time with friends and family. For many, the new year brings the hope of something new and better. A chance to right some wrongs, build on the positives and to approach the following weeks and months and hopefully year with a positive outlook. Unfortunately for some families in our area, the new year brings uncertainty, like the Boels family and Brandon Evansville community who will now be looking to move on from losing loved ones and trying to begin a new normal without some of their loved ones around them. Though it is easy to look at what went wrong in 2019, I think it is always important to look back at what went right and to reflect on the blessings and good fortunes we had as well. Be thankful for your friends and family, be fortunate for the gifts you have been given and remember that life in itself is something to be thankful for not just during the new year but every day. The following students had shown us their best before leaving for the break and because of that we would like to reward them with this week’s Arrow Pride Award. When you hear your name called, please come down to the office to pick your reward for your efforts in living and working the Arrow Way. As Arrows we strive to live and learn The Arrow Way by excelling in academics, being responsible and respectful, taking advantage of all the opportunities bestowed upon us, working hard and finding success in all that we do. We are what makes this school a special place to work and learn.
Congratulations to those of you who were picked and good luck to all of you potential winners for next week’s Arrow Pride Awards.
