January 24: ♭What a Wonderful World Good afternoon Arrows - It is time for another drawing of the Arrow Pride Award Winner. Michael Jordan is one of the most recognized names in sports. We have seen his name and face in the NBA, movies, tv commercials and even on clothing and shoes. When talking about his career in the NBA he said “I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. We don’t host the Arrow Pride Awards to always point out those who succeed on a daily basis, but also those who take risks, fail, make mistakes and grow from them. The people who become the most successful in life do so through learning lessons along the way. They adapt, self reflect, work hard despite failure and recognize that though there are dark days, through hard work there most certainly will be light. The following students had shown us their best before leaving for the break and because of that we would like to reward them with this week’s Arrow Pride Award. As Arrows we strive to live and learn The Arrow Way by excelling in academics, being responsible and respectful, taking advantage of all the opportunities bestowed upon us, working hard and finding success in all that we do. We are what makes this school a special place to work and learn.
Congratulations to those of you who were picked and good luck to all of you potential winners for next week’s Arrow Pride Awards.
