October 11th Good Afternoon Arrows - It is time for another drawing of the Arrow Pride Award Winner. For over one hundred years, Ashby Public School has had students walk through its halls. Year after year, students have left here to accomplish great things. It's because of the strength of our community and the dedication of our staff and students to excellence that this tradition continues. At the moment, it is hard to realize the significance your home and the school has on you. Often times, it is years later that one reflects on the positive impact their hometown had on them. For example, look at the Ashby Legacy Fund. Hundreds of Ashby graduates want you to have the same opportunities they had coming to school here and much more. So much that, they donate their time and money to ensure your time here is well spent and that you have the opportunity to leave here and accomplish whatever you want with the help of the Ashby Legacy Foundation Scholarship Program. This program wouldn’t happen if our graduates didn’t feel passionate about our great school. Our home is a great one and it deserves a week to be celebrated. Be proud of our small school and amazing community. Regardless of the scores during our volleyball and football games this week, raise your head high and be proud of who you are and what we represent. Ashby is a great place to live and learn and it is because of all of you and those who came before you. The following students have shown us their best this week in learning and living the Arrow Way.
