Good morning Arrows - It is time for another drawing of the Arrow Pride Award Winner. Doing the right thing is easy when things are going your way. When the masses are joined in and working towards the same goal, it is easy to stay the track and do what is right… for those who choose to be successful, they find a way to stand tall even in the darkest of times when it seems life is working against you. We develop character through life events. We make choices, often difficult ones and develop a sense of self to help guide us in life. Your character grows and develops as you stand your ground against adversity and put in the time and make the choices some of your peers won’t, to reach your goals and become the person you want to be. Those that can do this can foresee how their actions in school, on the field, in the community, and with their friends are going to affect them later in life. With this foresight, they make difficult decisions like staying in at night and studying, waking up early to get in a workout they missed the day before, helped a friend or community member in need instead of doing something for themselves. These character traits are what helped shape the Arrow Way and today we celebrate those who have stood their ground and made the tough choices to be their very best selves on a regular basis. The following students have shown us their best last week in learning and living the Arrow Way. I ask that the following students please come down to collect their Arrow Pride Award and to choose their reward for their efforts.
