Good afternoon Arrows - It is time for another drawing of the Arrow Pride Award Winner. Sometimes we all need a little incentive to push ourselves through the holiday season. Parents by this time of the year are scratching their heads trying to find ways to get kids to bed on time, brush their teeth, or even do their homework. Santa for many families is a great person to oversee what we are doing in our everyday lives to make sure we don’t end up on the naughty list. I am sure there is even a teacher or two who have used the phrase “You better not shout, you better not cry, you better not pout, I’m telling you why…”
Though we are all working towards being on the nice list through the month of December, I feel we don’t need the incentive of Santa to do what is right at school, at home, and in our community. We can make a choice every day to spread cheer, work hard, and take advantage of all the opportunities we have all on our own.
The following students have shown us their best last week in learning and living the Arrow Way. I ask that the following students please come down to collect their Arrow Pride Award and to choose their reward for their efforts.
As Arrows we strive to live and learn The Arrow Way by excelling in academics, being responsible and respectful, taking advantage of all the opportunities bestowed upon us, working hard and finding success in all that we do. We are what makes this school a special place to work and learn.
Congratulations to those of you who were picked and good luck to all of you potential winners for next week’s Arrow Pride Awards.
